Founded in 1997, we began with humble beginnings. As parents themselves, the founders understood the challenges faced by working families and the essential support needed to raise bright, positive, and inquisitive children.
Determined to make a difference, they took action.
After opening our third and largest location, which provided educational and childcare services to over 500 children annually, we were faced with the unexpected challenges of a worldwide pandemic. Through resilience and the unwavering dedication of our staff and community supporters, we adapted by offering virtual services, along with home delivery of materials and meals, ensuring continued support for our families during these difficult times.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, affordable, and high-quality educational experience for all children. We support and encourage healthy families by offering educational resources, counseling, and referrals for housing and financial assistance as needed.
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for overseeing human resources, workflow, and budgeting for the YCW brand.
Leading by example, our CEO fosters a culture of professional development, creating a positive workplace environment where employees are encouraged to grow and explore their career paths. This supportive approach allows each team member to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Our Directors collaborate to create and implement new health and service policies, manage staff retention, and oversee daily operations. They also determine spending responsibilities and make key admission decisions.
Together, the Directors develop the marketing plan and strategize to ensure the school consistently meets and exceeds its enrollment goals each season.
Our Head Teachers are the driving force behind the early education of the children in their care. As subject matter experts, they are responsible for developing and delivering interactive learning programs that engage and educate young children.
Equipped with Child Development Associate (CDA) certifications and various degrees, such as an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, our Head Teachers bring multiple years of experience to the classroom. They also maintain certification in First Aid and CPR, renewing it every two years, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
Co-Teachers play a key role in organizing the classroom, planning intellectual activities, and providing one-on-one attention to children as needed.
Fully trained and prepared, our Co-Teachers are ready to step into the role of Head Teacher whenever necessary. Together, both teachers collaborate to lead exercises and games designed to support and enhance children's development.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we are proud to employ a diverse team of professionals who assist with everything from building maintenance and transportation to meal preparation.
In addition, we partner with community organizations to enrich our programs, offering children a variety of cultural experiences that keep their curiosity piqued and encourage their growth and exploration.
